Study 1: According to research from Japan, gene therapy of human glioblastomas is indicated by antiangiogenic activity of BAI1.
"Glioblastomas are the most common primary brain tumors in adults. These tumors exhibit a high degree of vascularization, and malignant progression from astrocytoma to glioblastoma is often accompanied by increased angiogenesis and the upregulation of vascular endothelial growth factor and its receptors," wrote X.
