Invitrogen introduces Lipofectamine LTX; reagent improves DNA delivery and lowers toxicity

Invitrogen Corp. (IVGN), a provider of technologies for disease research and drug discovery, introduced a key new product into its successful line of transfection reagents, Lipofectamine LTX.

Lipofectamine LTX, according to the company, provides highly effective delivery of DNA into a wide range of cell types and a significantly lower toxicity profile.
