"Inhibition of clusterin expression has been shown to enhance the sensitivity of prostate cancer cells to chemo and hormone therapy. Clusterin antisense oligonucleotides (ASOs) are currently in phase II human clinical trials for treatment of hormone refractory prostate cancer.
