Technology predicted to revolutionize genetic analysis of preimplantation embryos

Shady Grove Center for Preimplantation Genetics has a patent pending, all rights reserved, for a new screening technology to identify chromosome abnormalities, single gene mutations, embryos free of familial genetic disorders and mitochondrial mutations, in preimplantation embryos.

In an initiative led by geneticist Dr. William G. Kearns, the scientists and physicians of the center, have spent approximately 18 months developing new single cell experimental strategies on human preimplantation embryos.
