Data from Qingdao University advance knowledge in cancer gene therapy

Investigators publish new data in the report "Inhibitory effect of vascular endothelial growth factors-targeted small interfering RNA on proliferation of gastric cancer cells." In this recent study, researchers in Qingdao, People's Republic of China conducted a study "To examine the effects of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-targeted small interfering RNA (siRNA) on proliferation of gastric cancer cells in vitro. Several siRNAs were transfected into human gastric cancer cell line SGC-7901 with Lipofectamine 2000."
