Studies from Cornell University have provided new information about gene therapy

Current study results from the report, 'Mycobacterium tuberculosis and the environment within the phagosome,' have been published. According to a study from the United States, "'Once across the barrier of the epithelium, macrophages constitute the primary defense against microbial invasion. For most microbes, the acidic, hydrolytically competent environment of the phagolysosome is sufficient to kill them."
