Study results from Kyorin Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. broaden understanding of gene therapy

New research, 'Highly sensitive upregulation of apolipoprotein A-IV by peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARalpha) agonist in human hepatoma cells,' is the subject of a report. According to recent research published in the journal Biochemical Pharmacology, "Peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor alpha (PPARalpha) is a key regulator in hepatic lipid metabolism and a potential therapeutic target for dyslipidemia. However, in humans hepatic PPARalpha-regulated genes remain unclear."
