Report summarizes cancer gene therapy study findings from Y. Zhang and co-researchers

According to recent research published in the journal Gynecologic Oncology, "Previous studies have demonstrated the pivotal roles of matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) in cervical cancer progression. Tissue inhibitor of metalloprotemases-3 (TIMP-3) can inhibit all of NIMPs, and its overexpression can retard many kinds of tumor growth."
