"Ataxia-Telangiectasia (A-T) is an autosomal recessive human disease characterized by genetic instability, radiosensitivity, immunodeficiency and cancer predisposition, because of mutation in both alleles of the ATM (ataxia-telangiectasia mutated) gene.
