Reovirus Clinical Trial
Findings from St. James University, Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine provide new insights into reovirus clinical trial

New investigation results, 'Dendritic cells and T cells deliver oncolytic reovirus for tumour killing despite pre-existing anti-viral immunity,' are detailed in a study published in Gene Therapy. According to recent research published in the journal Gene Therapy, "Reovirus is a naturally occurring oncolytic virus currently in early clinical trials. However, the rapid induction of neutralizing antibodies represents a major obstacle to successful systemic delivery."
