Researchers from Veterinary Research Institute, Department of Biotechnology report on findings in reovirus

Scientists discuss in 'Recombinant protein-based ELISA for detection and differentiation of antibodies against avian reovirus in vaccinated and non-vaccinated chickens' new findings in reovirus. "Two nonstructural genes, sigmaNS and P17, of avian reovirus (ARV) were cloned into the expression plasmid vector PGEX4T-1. Expressed proteins for sigmaNS and P17 of avian reovirus were purified and used as antigens," researchers in Nanning, People's Republic of China report.
