Research from P.B. Gahan and co-authors yields new data on cell biochemistry

2010 DEC 23 -- According to recent research published in the journal Cell Biochemistry and Function, "Studies on a range of prokaryote and eukaryote cells and tissues have shown that a newly synthesized DNA/RNA-lipoprotein complex is released in a regulated manner. This complex, termed a virtosome, is a novel cytosolic component of eukaryote cells."
