New Findings from Baylor College of Medicine, Texas Children's Cancer Center Describe Advances in Gene Therapy

2011 JAN 27 -- New research, 'Plasma proteome predicts chemotherapy response in osteosarcoma patients,' is the subject of a report. According to a study from the United States, "Osteosarcoma is the most common malignant bone tumor that affects hundreds of children and young adults every year. The major prognostic factor in patients with localized osteosarcoma is the development of resistance towards pre-operative chemotherapy."
