Findings from Research Center for Charged Particle Therapy Broaden Understanding of Adenosquamous Cancer

2011 NOV 24 -- Scientists discuss in "Subtypes of cervical adenosquamous carcinomas classified by EpCAM expression related to radiosensitivity" new findings in Adenosquamous Cancer. "Adenosquamous carcinoma (ASC) is a relatively uncommon histological subtype of cervical cancer (CC). A point of controversy is the relative prognosis of ASC compared to squamous cell carcinoma (SCC)," researchers in Chiba, Japan report.
