Researchers from University of Amsterdam Detail New Studies and Findings in the Area of Gene Therapy

2011 DEC 15 -- Researchers detail in "Toward a durable treatment of HIV-1 infection using RNA interference," new data in Gene Therapy. "RNA interference (RNAi) is a cellular mechanism that mediates sequence-specific gene silencing at the posttranscriptional level. RNAi can be used as an antiviral approach against human pathogens," investigators in Amsterdam, Netherlands report.
