2011 DEC 15 -- "The use of engineered mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) as therapeutic vehicles for the treatment of experimental pancreatic and breast cancer has been previously demonstrated. The potential application of MSCs for the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) has been controversial," scientists in Munich, Germany report.
