Researchers at Graduate School of Engineering Have Published New Data on Cancer Gene Therapy

2012 FEB 9 -- A report, "Development of microwave antennas for thermal therapy," is newly published data in Current Pharmaceutical Design. "There are several different ways for cancer treatment including operation, radiation therapy, chemotherapy, gene therapy, immunotherapy, ablation and hyperthermia. Techniques utilizing temperature elevation over the tumor region are usually called as thermal therapies," scientists in Chiba, Japan report.
