Studies from University of North Carolina Add New Findings in the Area of Small Interference RNAs (siRNAs)

2012 MAR 22 -- Research findings, "Multivalent cyclic RGD conjugates for targeted delivery of small interfering RNA," are discussed in a new report. According to the authors of a study from Chapel Hill, North Carolina, "We have designed, synthesized, and tested conjugates of chemically modified luciferase siRNA (Luc-siRNA) with bi-, tri-, and tetravalent cyclic(arginine-glycine-aspartic) (cRGD) peptides that selectively bind to the avß3 integrin.
