2012 JUN 21 (NewsRx) -- By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Gene Therapy Weekly -- Fresh data on Gene Therapy are presented in a new report. According to news reporting out of Warsaw, Poland, by NewsRx editors, researchers stated "The positron-emitting radionuclide Sc-44 with a half-life of 3.97 h and a beta(+) branching of 94.3% is of potential interest for clinical PET. As so far it is available from a Ti-44/Sc-44 generator in Mainz, where long-lived Ti-44 decays to no-carrier-added (nca) Sc-44."
