Mental illness exacts a toll on U.S. businesses and institutions, study finds

According to the Hopkins report in a recent issue of the Journal of Occupational and Environmental Medicine, employees with anxiety and depressive disorders work fewer hours, are more likely to end up on disability, and are less productive than their counterpart employees.
