Outbreaks and epidemiological developments were monitored from October to December 2005 by DEFRA.

"This article summarizes official information on outbreaks of specified animal diseases and other diseases that may be of interest. The specified diseases are those high-impact diseases formerly included in the World Organization for Animal Health.
