MetriGenix renamed Xceed Molecular to focus on developing biomarker tests for clinical use

MetriGenix Corp., a developer of convenient gene-expression analysis systems, announced that it has changed its name to Xceed Molecular.

The name change comes as the company transitions from development stage to a customer-focused business with products and services designed to translate biomarker-based tests from research into routine clinical use.

Xceed Molecular was founded in Toronto as MetriGenix Corporation in December 2003. Its patented Flow-Thru Chip technology, a microporous silicon substrate for biological analysis, enables hybridizations that are four-times faster than conventional microarray formats.
