Studies from Tel-Aviv University describe new findings in obesity and diabetes genetics

New investigation results, "Genetic and environmental determinants of circulating resistin level in a community-based sample," are detailed in a study published in European Journal of Endocrinology. "Resistin is a hormone secreted by adipose tissue, monocytes, bone marrow, and other tissues. It was also proclaimed as an important link between obesity and diabetes," scientists in Tel Aviv, Israel report.
