Attorney says he'll comply with court order in arsenic case

A North Carolina attorney gave up his long fight to keep private conversations with a now-dead client about the 2000 arsenic death of an AIDS researcher.

Richard Gammon complied with a judge's order requiring him to divulge some of what Derril Willard Jr., told him about the death of Eric Miller, information that could be key evidence for authorities looking to make the first arrest in the case.

Gammon delivered the information to the Wake County District Attorney's office. Prosecutors then turned the information over to the Raleigh Police Department.
