Isis Reports Financial Results and Highlights for Third Quarter of 2007

Isis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ:ISIS) announced its financial results and highlights for the third quarter ended September 30, 2007. Isis had $10.1 million of income from operations in the third quarter of 2007 and a loss from operations for the nine months ended September 30, 2007 of $30.5 million compared to a loss from operations of $18.3 million and $51.4 million for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2006, according to GAAP. Isis' strong financial results demonstrate the value Isis is recognizing from its dominant position in antisense technology.
