Motorola Announces New System For Gene Expression Profiling

Motorola Life Sciences, a business unit of Motorola Inc. (MOT), has launched its CodeLink Bioarray System for Gene Expression Profiling. This system allows researchers to generate accurate, reproducible data for many research-based applications, including the identification and validation of novel drug targets and the analysis of toxicology profiles.

In tandem with the CodeLink System, Motorola has also launched the first in a series of high-density human genome scanning biochips. Key features of this biochip include a new probe design, coupled with a gene expression assay yielding high sensitivity, specificity, and a broad dynamic range, according to the company. ...
