AstraZeneca selects preferred supplier of siRNA



July 30th, 2004

QIAGEN N.V. (NASDAQ: QGENF; Frankfurt, Prime Standard: QIA) announced that it has entered into a supply agreement for siRNA molecules with AstraZeneca (NYSE: AZN).

Under the terms of this agreement QIAGEN will be the preferred supplier to AstraZeneca for siRNA products used in gene silencing applications. Financial terms were not disclosed.
