Effect of citalopram on lymphocyte gene expression characterized

The effects of citalopram on lymphocyte gene expression have been characterized in cells from Alzheimer disease patients. "Antidepressants are widely used in the treatment of mood disorders associated with dementia," although "little information is available on their effect at the molecular level," neurologists in Hungary explained.
