Non-resectable colorectal hepatic metastases treated with alternating therapy

Recent research from South Korea has chronicled the effects of hepatic arterial infusion (HAI) alternating with systemic chemotherapy in patients with non-resectable hepatic metastases from colorectal cancer. "HAI chemotherapy has a number of limitations, including a low rate of complete response and frequent extrahepatic recurrence, in colorectal cancer patients with non-resectable hepatic metastases," wrote J.C. Kim and colleagues, University of Ulsan.
