Cervical cancer poor prognosis predicted by weak expression of focal adhesion kinase

Poor prognosis of cervical cancer was predicted by weak expression of focal adhesion kinase (pp125FAK).

According to recent research published in the journal Clinical Cancer Research, "The pp125FAK plays a pivotal role in tumor cell signaling. FAK expression has been linked to tumor cell invasion and metastasis, but data on cervical cancer are inconclusive."
