New biochemistry study findings have been published by scientists at University of Hong Kong, Department of Biochemistry

A report, "Active transcription promotes single-stranded oligonucleotide mediated gene repair," is newly published data in Biochemical and Biophysical Research Communications. According to a study from People's Republic of China, "The lambda-Red-mediated recombination has been exploited as an efficient means for DNA manipulation. We previously reported that replication plays a pivotal role during this process."
