According to recent research published in the European Journal of Clinical Investigation, " Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACE-I) and angiotensin receptor blockers (ARB) exhibit beneficial antidiabetic effects in patients with type 2 diabetes independent of their blood pressure-lowering effects.
