Respironics names David P. White, MD, as chief medical officer

Respironics, Inc. (RESP) announced that David P. White, MD, has been named chief medical officer (CMO) of Respironics.

White will be responsible for leading the company's clinical research strategies and programs in the sleep and respiratory markets.

White currently serves as director of the clinical sleep disorders program at Brigham and Women's Hospital and as Professor of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. Earlier in his career, White served on the faculty at Penn State University Medical Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania and the University of Colorado Health Science Center.
