Chattem announces plan to offer $100 million Convertible Senior Notes

In certain circumstances, the notes may be convertible into cash up to the principal amount of the notes and, with respect to any excess conversion value, into cash, shares of Chattem common stock or a combination of cash and common stock, at Chattem's option.
