Biopure Moves to Nasdaq Capital Market

Biopure Corporation (NASDAQ:BPUR) announced that The Nasdaq Stock Market has approved the company's application to transfer the listing of its common stock from The Nasdaq Global Market to The Nasdaq Capital Market. Biopure expects trading of its stock on the Nasdaq Capital Market to begin on Monday, April 23, 2007, under its existing symbol, BPUR.

Biopure Corporation develops, manufactures and markets pharmaceuticals, called oxygen therapeutics, that are intravenously administered to deliver oxygen to the body's tissues.
