Akzo Nobel Share Buyback Program (Week 23)

Akzo Nobel (Euronext Amsterdam: AKZ; Nasdaq: AKZOY) has announced that, in line with the launch of its EUR 1.6 billion share buyback program on May 3, 2007, the company has repurchased 1,385,000 common shares in the period June 4 until June 8, 2007.

The total number of shares repurchased under this program to date is 6,430,000 common shares for a total consideration of EUR 383.1 million.
