First Group of Minority Nurse Faculty Scholars Selected by the Johnson & Johnson Campaign for Nursing's Future and AACN

The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) and the Johnson & Johnson Campaign for Nursing's Future are pleased to announce that the first five Minority Nurse Faculty Scholars have been selected through a new program to address the nation's shortage of nurse educators. This program was launched in September 2007 to provide financial support to graduate nursing students from minority backgrounds who agree to teach in a school of nursing after graduation.
