Air Methods Announces New Chief Operating Officer

Air Methods Corporation (NASDAQ:AIRM) announced that, effective March 31, 2008, Paul Tate will become its new chief operating officer. Mr. Tate has been a member of Air Methods' Board of Directors since August 2003. In addition, Mr. Tate, who has been serving as the executive vice president and chief financial officer for Frontier Airlines, Inc. since October 2001, has resigned his position with Frontier effective March 21, 2008. Mr. Tate brings over 20 years of aviation experience in both financial and operational roles.
