Lev Presents Results of Phase III Study Supporting Safety and Efficacy of Cinryze(TM) (C1 inhibitor) as Prophylactic Therapy for HAE

Lev Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (OTCBB:LEVP.OB) announced the presentation of results from a Phase III study examining the efficacy and safety of prophylactic use of its C1 inhibitor (C1INH) replacement therapy, Cinryze(TM), in patients with hereditary angioedema (HAE). The findings, presented at the annual meeting of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), demonstrated that prophylactic use of Cinryze significantly decreases the number of attacks in HAE patients.
