American Medical Response



AMR Will Continue Service Uninterrupted During Work Stoppage

American Medical Response (AMR) announced that the Company will provide uninterrupted service as it continues to negotiate a new contract with its LA County employees. AMR received a notice of intention to strike on Friday, May 2, from IAEP Locals #77 and #187 earlier today.

The 295 employees, represented by IAEP, announced their intention to strike after a contract offer was rejected by the union during contract negotiations. AMR had intended to raise employees' salaries by 20 percent over the next four years, with initial increases being retroactive to November 2007.
