Affymax Reports First Quarter 2008 Financial Results

Affymax, Inc. (Nasdaq:AFFY) reported financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2008. The net loss for the first quarter of 2008 was $15.6 million compared to a net loss of $7.2 million for the first quarter of 2007. Affymax recognized revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2008 of $16.7 million compared to $7.3 million for the quarter ended March 31, 2007.
