Advantage Energy Income Fund ("Advantage" or the "Fund") announces that the cash distribution for the month of May will be $0.12 per Unit. The distribution represents an annualized yield of 11.5% based on the May 15, 2008 closing price of $12.56 per Unit. The distribution will be payable on June 16, 2008 to Unitholders of record at the close of business on May 30, 2008. The ex-distribution date is May 28, 2008. The cash distribution is based on approximately 139.9 million Units outstanding.
