AGD Applauds Sen. Cardin Oral Health Initiative Bill; Urges All Senators to Co-Sponsor Measure

The Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) applauds the recent introduction of the "Oral Health Initiative Act of 2008" by Sen. Benjamin Cardin (D-MD) and Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME). The bill, S 3064, proposes the establishment of a multi-faceted approach to oral health care through the creation of an expert oral health working group to assess existing federal oral health programs and recommend improvements.
