Consumers Energy and the Michigan Commission on Services to the Aging Celebrate 20 Years of Helping Older Adults

While many things have changed since 1987, there's one constant in a service jointly provided by the Michigan Commission on Services to the Aging and Consumers Energy. That service is called the Gatekeeper Program, and it involves providing assistance to older Michigan residents who need help, but may be unable to get it themselves. Consumers Energy joined as a partner in the Gatekeeper Program to provide extra "eyes and ears" through the utility company's employees who have direct contact with natural gas and electric customers.
