State Department Selects Nebraska to Participate in Special High School Exchange Student Program

Nebraska is part of a group of locations chosen to host this year's Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program students through AFS Intercultural Programs/USA. The YES Program started after September 11, 2001 to build bridges of peace and understanding between U.S. residents and countries with significant Muslim populations. Families in Lincoln and Omaha can participate in the process of peace by hosting YES high school students in the upcoming school year. Students will arrive in August.
