Steven B. Kelmar to Lead Aetna Government Relations

Aetna (NYSE: AET) announced that it has appointed Steven B. Kelmar, 53, as head of Government Relations, effective July 1. In this role, Kelmar will lead Aetna's government affairs initiatives at the federal and state levels, and be responsible for the company's health public policy initiatives. He will report to Chairman and CEO Ronald A. Williams and Senior Vice President and General Counsel William J. Casazza. Kelmar will be based in Aetna's Hartford, Connecticut corporate headquarters.
