The African American Supplier Engagement Collaboration today hosted its first business symposium to bring African-American business owners together with procurement professionals to extend knowledge and strategies that will foster stronger business relationships. The symposium focused on professional services and included information on Verizon's risk management program from Sheila Small, assistant treasurer - risk management and insurance, of Verizon's Corporate Finance division.
