AirTran Airways Customers Affected by Tropical Storm Edouard May Change Travel Plans Without Penalty

Based on the current forecasts for Tropical Storm Edouard by the National Hurricane Center, AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. (NYSE:AAI), is offering passengers with flights booked to/from Houston, Texas, on Tuesday, August 5, to change their travel to today, August 4, or August 6 through 8, without change fees or fare adjustments.

Passengers holding reservations for travel to/from Houston scheduled August 5, 2008, should check www.airtran.com under "Flight Status" for updates or call 1-800-AIRTRAN (247-8726).
