The Board of Directors of the Alfred Harcourt Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Jovanovich as president, effective immediately. Mr. Jovanovich, who currently serves as chairman, will manage the Foundation's program from its new headquarters in Rye, New York. It is expected that a new chairperson will be appointed in 2009. The Alfred Harcourt Foundation is devoted to giving four-year college scholarships to under-privileged students.
