AirTran Airways Customers Affected by Tropical Storm Gustav May Change Travel Plans Without Penalty

Based on the current forecasts for Tropical Storm Gustav by the National Hurricane Center, AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc., (NYSE:AAI), is offering passengers with flights booked to/from Gulfport/Biloxi, Miss., New Orleans, La., and Pensacola, Fla., through September 1, 2008, to change their travel plans without change fees or fare adjustments. Passengers may adjust their travel plans to an alternate date starting today through seven days from the original travel date.
